Clear Suite: At a Glance

Clear Suite treatments include ClearV and ClearSilk.

ClearV Best for:

  • Visible vessels
  • Vascular lesions

ClearSilk Best for:

  • Diffuse redness

ClearV: Targeted Treatment, Clearer Skin

ClearV excels at reducing or eliminating visible blood vessels. By adjusting settings, Dr. Sohrab provides improvements for concerns ranging from tiny broken capillaries to larger facial or body veins.

The treatment works by delivering ultraprecise amounts of laser energy directly to targeted
vascular structures. This selective heating causes the targeted vessels to collapse and fade over time. However, the surrounding tissues are left undamaged. Patients choose ClearV for concerns
across the face, legs, and body, including:

  • Visible vessels
  • Broken capillaries
  • Spider veins
  • Vascular lesions
  • Discoloration and localized redness
  • Periorbital (periocular) veins

ClearSilk: Nonablative Photorejuvenation

ClearSilk is a nonablative photorejuvenation treatment that improves overall skin quality. Optimal uses include treating concerns like redness, fine lines, and uneven skin tone. The treatment deposits heat deep beneath the skin’s surface. This in turn stimulates fibroblast activity and activates your body’s natural repair mechanisms. The subsequent increase in collagen production rejuvenates the skin, improving a range of concerns, including:

  • Diffuse redness
  • Flushing/blushing
  • Rosacea tendency
  • Fine lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Acne and acne scars
  • Uneven tone
  • Overall skin appearance
Dr. Sohrab is excellent at explaining how the procedures worked. She answered my questions and I am comfortable with all the information I received.

Can you combine ClearV and ClearSilk?

You can! Skin concerns often arise from multiple skin dynamics at play. Combining treatments lets you address these concerns more specifically. Additionally, patients can combine Clear Suite treatments with Dr. Sohrab’s other nonsurgical treatments.

Dr. Sohrab will recommend a plan based on:

  • Skin type and sensitivity history
  • Skin concerns type, severity, and location
  • Location (face vs. periocular vs. legs/body)
  • Timing around events and sun exposure

How long do results last?

  • ClearSilk: Improvements can last for months (typically up to 6 months). Keep in mind that redness and aging are ongoing processes, so many patients find maintenance every 3–6 months optimal for maintaining results.
  • ClearV: The treated vessels generally are gone for good. However, new vessels can form over time. We recommend building a care plan based on triggers or risk factors present in your life that can influence redness.

Is Clear Suite safe for different skin tones?

Nd:YAG platforms like Clear Suite are often selected for broader suitability. In general, treatment should be safe for most skin tones. However, safety still depends on proper treatment planning and execution. Dr. Sohrab builds each plan with your skin’s health in mind, assessing:

  • Skin type
  • Tanning history
  • Melanin response risk

How much do Clear Suite treatments cost in Greenwich, CT?

The price for ClearSilk treatment typically ranges from $400 to $1,000 per session. The main factors for pricing are the treatment areas. Treating a single area will cost less. However, combining multiple areas in a single session can be more cost effective than breaking up care into multiple sessions. Bundling treatments can also influence the final price of care.

For ClearV, the price range is based on time needed per session and the severity of the condition. Some conditions respond more rapidly to the treatment, while others may require more sessions for full results. On average, costs come out to between $500 to $800 per session.

Dr. Sohrab provides personalized, itemized quotes following your consultation. These will include details on treatment costs and require no commitment.

Is there downtime?

Neither of these treatments uses ablative lasers. Rather, the gentler nonablative approach cuts down on both side effects and downtime. While you may have some redness or swelling, it should not interfere with your daily routine. That said, sun care is essential until your skin is fully recovered from treatment.

What should I avoid before and after treatment?

Leading up to treatment, you want your skin as healthy as possible. The main factors to avoid are UV exposure, including tanning and sun exposure. Anything that irritates your skin will need to be avoided. Dr. Sohrab will provide individualized preparation recommendations based on your treatment.
